Phillies SHUTOUT by the Orioles!

It’s incredible, isn’t it?

No one is surprised though.

The Phillies only put together 4 hits against an Orioles team 55 games under .500.

A classic 2-0 loss.

Let’s stop with this John Means nonsense. He was hittable.

If only there was a damn pulse in the Phillies dugout.

They’re lucky to be in contention to begin with. Wouldn’t you think sense of urgency kicks in? Hey! It’s time to annihilate the worst team in baseball!

AND THE SERIES IS AT CITIZEN’S BANK PARK!

It tells me everything I already knew. It’s just painful to experience.

So many x-factors came up short this season: JT Realmuto, Didi Gregorius, Alec Bohm…..

Think about how many times the fan base said these 2 statements:

• “Maybe the run starts now.”
• “They missed another opportunity.”

A team with fight would have pounced 5,000 chances ago.

It’s embarrassing to me that in a MUST WIN game on Tuesday night, the best option is a bullpen game.

What a joke!

(I’m not anti-bullpen game. If it’s a part of your roster construction and identity, it’s smart. If it’s forced because of desperation, it’s a disaster)

Random optimism: Ranger Suarez really settled in after a rough start.

He finished with 6.0 IP, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 Ks and actually made a few impressive plays.

2nd inning: Suarez fell behind 3-0 in the count with 2 men on and 1 out. Huge spot after allowing a couple runs in the first inning.

I thought we’d possibly look back at this as a game-changing moment.
