The Phillies’ Wins Aren’t Even Fun

I really don’t know how much longer I can put up with this team.

I will continue to watch every single night so I technically do know how long I can put up with them.

Forever.

I don’t have a choice.

They don’t even provide joy after wins anymore though.

Let’s dive into this horrendous 6-5 win over the Cubs!

Didi Gregorius can’t turn a double play which results in Ranger Suarez’s pitch-count rising.

Now Girardi has to go to his bullpen quicker knowing there is a bullpen game tomorrow.

Why is there a bullpen game you ask? Because Chase Anderson, Matt Moore, Vince Velasquez, and Spencer Howard all failed so miserably that it’s possibly their best option. (I honestly believe I can make the argument that Vince Velasquez was the best choice in this scenario which makes me sick)

Why did Hector Neris only throw 1 inning? Is it because they need options for tomorrow?

Why did Jose Alvarado get his number called against a bunch of righties?

Why did Ian Kennedy throw another meatball which got annihilated for a home run, losing yet another lead?

Amazing Tom McCarthy call by the way.

Why is Bryce Harper bunting? Why did he do it with 2 outs in the inning? Don’t tell me because JT Realmuto was due up. This team’s only chance is if Bryce Harper continues to dominate, not because he bunts and JT Realmuto is Mr. Reliable all of a sudden. Such a dumb dumb dumb dumb way to play the game.

FYI: I don’t run the social account during games. I quickly responded with major thumbs down emojis!

Andrew Knapp should have EASILY been thrown out at third base prior to scoring the game-winning run on a passed ball. Trevor Megill didn’t even look that direction.

The Phils just constantly play the game the wrong way which takes such a toll on my body over 162.

I’m running out of fuel.

Well, somehow they are still fighting for the Wild Card spot! Oh & the Braves lost tonight as well.

Unbelievably pathetic.

They have beaten me down.
